So winter has come full swing around here. Horses have come and gone, and new ones are on their way. I am looking for some new broodmares to add to the band this spring. Gunner will have his first foal crop in 2013, so the mares will be getting ready in the spring to get some babies. It's been cold around here, but nowhere near as much snow as we had last year. Which has been really nice for the old hoogies out on pasture.
The training programs are going really well, the colts are moving through fast and learning what i'm trying to teach them. I worked on getting Gunner under saddle briefly last week, he is coming along well. He should be ready to show in the spring and i am finding some easy NRHA shows for him to go to so he can get his feet wet.
