I am seeing some nice horses come off of the feedlots , some that are papered, sound, gentle, and broke. As well as this owner surrender case, these are really nice horses and at a fraction of the cost it would take for you to find a well bred colt like this. I am excited to see what the future holds for these horses, to know that they will be saved from the feedlot and have wonderful full lives where they will be trained, loved, and treated well.
At any rate, asking questions is the best way to find out more. If you are uncertain about something, just ask. people in the horse world are more than happy to put in their two cents and give their opinion on most any topic. I am happy to answer questions about horses, my horses, or a topic in the community, and i have found several forums that help me out when i get stuck. I would love to see more people owning horses. The hay prices will go down and the drought will end, at least i can only hope.
Bringing these rescues home and sending several out to their new homes will be the end of a very long wekk for me. I will make sure to post photos of them and info as soon as i can to update. Keep checking back for more. I am going to start adding in helpful tips and tricks to the blog so make sure to look out for those.
